I am a junior at Saint Xavier University, where I have immersed myself in science courses and laboratory work that have enriched my hands-on experience. Through coursework involving microscopy, data analysis, and lab report writing, I have developed strong problem-solving skills and proper lab etiquette. I have been recognized on the Dean’s List for the School of Nursing and Health Sciences since August 2022, and in many extracurriculars such as Pals for Change, The Pre-Medical Society, and TRIO. Additionally, I work as a cashier at a family-owned restaurant, where I have improved my customer service skills and teamwork abilities. My volunteer work at a hospice facility allows me to provide support and comfort to families during challenging times. Coming from a low-income household of immigrant parents, I understand the importance of resilience and am dedicated to creating opportunities for myself and others. As I move forward in my career, I aspire to continue offering support to those in need.
