Alexia tells accurate, authentic and engaging stories through human connection and creativity in the journalism, marketing and PR fields with a specialization in fashion. She is a recent ASU Honors (Summa Cum Laude) graduate with a BA in Journalism and Mass Communication with an emphasis in Public Relations and minor in Fashion at Arizona State University. Currently, she works as an Account Manager for E Squared Marketing and as a Communications and Design Intern for start-up, All One Thing, a modern commune and multi-functional space concept, starting their US tour in August! She also works as an Account Executive for Slayer PR, and a copywriter for New York-based clothing brand, The Proper Label. Alexia is a current contributing writer for 303 Magazine and UNIA Magazine. She is also the founder of Obscura Zine, a fashion and culture digital publication focused on transparent journalism and humanistic-based storytelling.In college, she led as President for The Chic Daily, ASU's Fashion Journalism Club where she produced a fashion show with 350+ guests and PR campaign with over 104K+ impressions. She previously worked as a Media Relations intern for Arizona Fashion Week, a PR Specialist with local Tempe thrift store, Resale Therapy and as a PR Specialist at the Cronkite Agency. Alexia formally worked as a Social Media Manager at Sunlight Social, an Arizona-based social media marketing company. When Alexia is not working, she can be found reading at a coffee shop, taking photos, working out, or watching movies I've never heard of with her family. Under a pseudonym, she also submits poetry and art to magazines, to which she's been published by Stuck In Notes and Lux Creative Review. She loves to make zines, spend time with loved ones, travel and above all else, learn and love.
