As the Scholar Engagement Manager (SEM), I lead and supervise the Scholar Engagement Team (SET) and oversee the day-to-day operations and coordination of the Engagement Center, a multi-purpose hub designed to foster engagement and serve the needs of a diverse scholar population within the Kalamazoo Promise community.Under my leadership as the SEM, the Scholar Engagement Team (SET) develops, implements, and improve programs designed to enhance and support scholars’ success through group and individualized support, mentoring/coaching, engagement, and experiential learning opportunities.The SET offers engagement programs, opportunities, and events regularly throughout the year.
