The Women's Council of The Houston Black Real Estate Association is a non-profit organization whose mission is to engage in community involvement by educating minority and low income neighborhoods about homeownership, credit stability and financial literacy. We provide scholarships, financial literacy classes for youth and adults and professional development for real estate professionals. As President, I was responsible for the management of a 9 person executive team charged with planning and facilitating engaging events and programs to promote our mission. During my tenure we were able to give out over $15,000 in scholarships to high school seniors.
