As a student caller, I spoke with Queen’s alumni to verify their demographic information, updated them on what is taking place on campus and pledging for gifts on behalf of the university. This role taught me how to effectively mediate conversations on the telephone.

Taught swimming lessons to children 2-15 years old, with and without mental and/or physical disabilities, on a one-to-one basis or in groups of 3-7. As an Adapted Gym and Swim Monitor, I would work one-on-one with children with a variety of disability, spending half an hour in the gym, where they completed obstacle courses, to ultimately improve their gross motor skills. The second half of each of these sessions took place in the pool.
