Director Of Professional DevelopmentThe City University Of New York’S Paul A. Kaplan Center Sep 2003 - Jun 2011As the Producer and Director of the New York City Student Shakespeare Festival, I develop and lead a yearly professional development program for 30+ NYC educators (K-12) that includes group training and coaching in co-intentional/learner-centered education, facilitation, theatre/directing, and Shakespeare. It culminates with 400-500 New York City schoolchildren performing their unique interpretations of Shakespeare's language, stories, and themes at an Off-Broadway theatre. I supervise a team of 5 teaching artists, design curriculum for/coordinate Shakespeare school residencies, oversee the recruitment of schools and teaching staff, and manage the professional development program budget.In addition, I run CAT's Paul A.
