Clients at DES tend to be developers so budgets are tight, leasible area is critical, and design time is precious. Advanced parametric functions allow me to turn out deign solutions quickly with multiple options and layers of information graphics. Years of refining design process and work-flows have made managing the complexities of these efforts almost seamless. Close coordination with multiple disciplines and engineers have made implementing viable design solutions an integral part of the process. - Lead and develop schematic design efforts across several Bay Area Projects- Manage deadlines and design deliverables across multiple projects.- S.D. presentation deliverables and coordinate S.D. handoff to multiple production teams.- Quickly develop and manage digital models and documentation.- Facilitate office departments with design support and Sketchup training. - Develop Info-graphics and facilitate design and code research.

Over the past four years, I have established my position as a design leader at RTKL, and have been personally responsible for the delivery of schematic design packages for mega-projects in the US, China, and Korea. I am typically brought in at the beginning of projects to develop the initial concepts and to play a key role in the orchestration of the various structural, mechanical, design, interior, and landscape teams. At the design level my contributions have focused on generating workable conceptual ideas that can be explained both verbally and graphically to the client, my design team, and all related disciplines. Typically, my responsibilities include aesthetics, proportion, scale, simplicity, longevity, building performance, and functionality. Deliverables usually include 3d models, animations, renderings, elevations, plans, perspectives, diagrams, and explicative narratives.At a project management level I am responsible for identifying appropriate coordination strategies with consultants, creating realistic milestones for the project team, monitoring and operating the project within financial constraints, and pushing  a very lean and aggressive agenda to produce the required deliverables.
