I am a Physics PhD graduate from Queen's University. I'm a graduate from the Nanotechnology Engineering program at the University of Waterloo. I'm Interested in research and development working on all types of disruptive technologies, including organic electronics, organic light-emitting diodes (OLEDs), quantum dots, nanoparticle design, microelectromechanical systems (MEMS) and machine learning. My PhD research project was a study of the self-assembly of N-heterocylic carbenes on gold surfaces.• Extensive knowledge of Scanning Probe Microscopy (SPM) methods and Self-Assembled Monolayers (SAM) of molecules on metal surfaces.• Experience with Ultra-High Vacuum (UHV) and cryogenic systems.• Excellent critical problem solving skills and exceptionally capable working in a team environment.• Extensive knowledge of Polymer Light-Emitting Electrochemical Cell (LEC) and OLED functionality and fabrication.• Proficient in LaTeX, Python, Labview, Matlab, Autodesk Inventor, Arduino, COMSOL, AutoCad Lite, Java, and Microsoft Excel.• Experience as a Project Manager and Team Leader.• First-hand experience with CMOS fabrication and clean room procedures.• Confident speaking and teaching in front of crowds.• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.• Published in Applied Physics Letters.• First-hand experience with many spectroscopy and analyzing techniques including STM, AFM, FTIR, SEM, XPS, FIM, XRD, Raman, UV-Vis, and BET.• WHMIS certified.• Fluent in French, gained from French Immersion Certificate.
