Lexi is a neuroscientist at the University of Texas at Austin working in the College of Pharmacy, Division of Pharmacology and Toxicology where she examines neuroimmune function in health and disease. She received her Ph.D. in Neuroscience from Florida State University in 2023 where her doctoral research focused on neuroimmune mechanisms in disordered eating behaviors in both preclinical and clinical models. Aside from research, Lexi is very passionate about education and has ample experience in the classroom, where she has lectured multiple lab and lecture courses. She is also passionate about science communication and outreach.
