Alexis Ceasar A. Padillo (Alex) is an experienced Audit Manager in Deloitte (Philippines) handling audit of clients in the insurance, manufacturing and BPO industries. Previously, he is part of the Financial Services Office of Ernst & Young LLP and Deloitte LLP in Singapore. He managed a portfolio of clients in asset management, commodities and other financial services (e.g. brokerage) related industries. He perform detailed review, analysis and finalisation of financial statements and ensured that other regulatory deliverables (i.e. CMS License, Registered Fund Management Companies in Singapore) are being completed in accordance with the applicable regulations. He also managed the completion of other assurance services like agreed-upon procedures to ensure the Company’s compliance with the grant conditions provided by the relevant Singapore authorities. Prior to that, he worked in SGV & Co. (an affiliate of Ernst & Young Global) as a senior auditor handling audits in various industries such as food and beverage, manufacturing, financial services, professional services, information technology, shipping and telecommunications engineering services industries. Within this period, he was assigned as the in-charge of various engagements in which he’s primarily responsible in completing the planning stage up to the engagement wrap-up. In addition, he had overseas working experience gained when he was seconded to Ernst & Young Singapore handling the audit of banking & capital markets and asset management clients. He also worked as a Financial Analyst of San Miguel Corporation - Brewery division, a multinational food and beverage company for two years after placing 13th in the Philippine CPA Board exam last May 2005. He graduated with a degree in Bachelor of Science in Accountancy at University of San Jose - Recoletos, cum laude.
