I'm a journalist, producer, author, and writer with nearly a decade of experience in media, content creation, and news production operations. My strengths lie in avid storytelling, story/show production, reporting, and writing. I'm an Associate Booking Producer at MSNBC's Deadline White House with Nicolle Wallace. I've spent nearly four years at the network. I help find and book a range of experts and other notable guests for the show, so they can provide their commentary and analysis on the news of the day. Furthermore, I schedule transportation for remote or live, in-studio interviews and escort on-set guests. Additionally, I send daily booking notes and updates to the editorial team, offering any background information, tidbits, and reporting from the guest. My contributions to the show's programming and content led me to win NBCUniversal's GEM Award. Prior to my latest role, I was building and cultivating graphics for The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell, making sure the graphic consisted of the necessary bullet points/information and that the graphic's appearance matched the editorial art guidelines, style, theme, and tone of the show. I also collaborated with show artists, executive and segment producers, and the director, creating and sending graphics orders, inspecting the completed graphic to ensure it was ready for broadcast, and sometimes hopping on Zoom and phone calls with artists if a graphic needed to be further examined. I worked on special flyers and projects and trained fellow PAs as well. Before joining MSNBC, my career entry-level position was as a Broadcast Associate at CBS This Morning (now CBS Mornings) with Gayle King, Tony Dokoupil, and formerly Anthony Mason. While there, I too, handled graphics, thoroughly reviewing them to guarantee that there were no issues or mistakes before air. I would also examine each graphic block by block, making sure that the hits/pages aligned with the script.I'm also the proud owner of Lexie Writes, a freelance writing business I launched in 2020 that offers copywriting and content writing services.In 2019, I also self-published my first book, Embracing Changes, which is a collection of poems, available on Amazon.I participated in various publications and programs, filming, editing, producing, and writing impactful pieces to be a voice for the voiceless.
