I've got quite a bit of experience in animal care under my belt! I've taken courses in small animal management, equine science, advanced animal science, principles of agriculture, livestock production, veterinary medical applications, and even aquatic science. Plus, I was actively involved in my high school's FFA, where I learned even more about agriculture and animal care.But it doesn't stop there! I've been fostering dogs and cats for six years now, and let me tell you, I've seen it all, from tiny puppies and kittens to seniors needing extra TLC. It's been a rewarding journey, and I've learned so much about how to provide the best care for animals at every stage of life. During my time at Whataburger, I put in two years of full-time work, and let me tell you, it was quite the experience! My main gig was working the fryer and cooking. But that's not all I did, I was also heavily involved in customer service, handling money, prepping food, and making sure everything was up to standards with food safety standards.Overall, my time at Whataburger was more than just a job. It was a crash course in essential skills like cooking, fryer operation, customer service, money handling, food prep, and food safety.I've had my fair share of experience in childcare. For starters, I worked at a daycare for six months, where I was the main teacher for the one-year-olds. It was a whirlwind of a job, but I loved every minute of it. Taking care of those little ones taught me patience, creativity, and how to handle anything that comes my way.But that's not all. While I was still in high school, juggling college work, a full-time job, and marching band practice, I also took on the full-time job of looking after my nieces, who ranged from newborn to three years old at the time. It was a hectic time, to say the least, but I wouldn't trade those moments for anything. Being there for my nieces taught me the true meaning of responsibility and unconditional love.So whether it was at the daycare or at home with my nieces, I've had plenty of hands-on experience in childcare, and I wouldn't have it any other way.
