I have contacted over 500+ colleges’ and universities’ professors, chairs, and deans of different schools and departments requesting syllabi and information about their Project Management courses to create a synopsis regarding talent gap of roughly 1.5 million jobs every year in Project Management. The talent gap is illustrated by the report, code-named "CHAOS", from the Standish Group International; a market research and advisory firm, which argues that, 31 percent of projects are cancelled before completion (Scope), 53 percent of projects cost 145 percent of their original estimates (Cost), while only 16 percent of projects are completed on time (Schedule) and within budget (Cost). In large organizations, the success rate is a mere 9 percent.
