In my current role, I maintain GL Accounts and perform account reconciliations. I am also responsible for maintaining and reconciling Fixed Assets schedules as well as reconciling sub-ledger to general ledger account balances. I am also responsible for assessing internal controls, including risk assessments and reviews of risk areas in addition to performing monthly balance sheet, income statement and changes in financial position. In addition, I also assist with financial and tax audits.

In this role, I was responsible for establishing complete accounting structures, processes, and controls to meet business requirements.  I streamlined financial reporting by accurately processing bank reconciliations and delivering financial reporting in a detailed manner. I achieved compliance throughout all audit areas including inventory, accrued expenses and accounts payable. In this role I investigatedand resolved discrepancies in monthly bank accounts. I also managed financial operations, month-end reporting, financial reports, and reconciliations, also while managing a team of staff accountants.
