Alexis is an innovative entrepreneur and dynamic leader with a diverse background spanning multiple fields from education, nonprofit management and event planning to accounting, financial analysis, and professional writing. Alexis is the executive director of the Danbury Student and Business Connection, a nonprofit whose mission is to build the character and confidence of Danbury students to achieve personal and academic success through business and community partnership. While in pursuit of a Master of Science in Education Entrepreneurship from the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education, Alexis founded a venture to inspire the next generation of leaders to become financially savvy, develop a growth mindset and give back to others. Aspiring to change the landscape of education, Alexis combines the best practices for creating effective and collaborative learning environments with a robust student-focused curriculum that fosters authentic connection. As founder and lead facilitator, Alexis shares her first-hand experiences and real-world skills to educate and empower young adults as they embark on a path toward success.Alexis also serves as a business consultant for entrepreneurs, small businesses, and nonprofit organizations.
