Maintained relations and gained celebrity support for human rights worldwide.• Planned and conducted successful capital campaigns for various Amnesty international priority campaigns (e.g. "SOS Europe), as well as composing numerous funding proposals for social service programmes/campaigns and writing greater case for support for today’s donors.• Organized the inauguration of Amnesty International's new office in Geneva in November 2014. More than 250 guests attended, including diplomats, business and NGO leaders, the mayor of Geneva, a member of Geneva's Council of State, Amnesty International's Secretary General Salil Shetty, Switzerland's former President Ruth Dreifuss, or UNESCO's Special Envoy for Intercultural Dialogue Metin Arditi.

Co-founded an NGO uniquely defending human rights in Turkey and Armenia, while supporting contemporary artistic creation that questions society.• Plans and organizes events supporting human rights in Armenia & Turkey (e.g.: an event with Pinar Selek on LGBT rights in Armenia, or an event with Asli Erdogan on freedom of expression in Turkey).• Plans and organizes the program of the Armenian Stand at the Geneva Book Fair - in partnership with the Topalian Foundation.• Manages and contributes to the organization's blog. • Created and manages the V. Krikorian Fund for contemporary Armenian literature & freedom to publish in Turkey.

I was selected to join DFRLab’s 360/Digital Sherlocks training program. Between October 2021 and January 2022, the 360/Digital Sherlocks training program involved over 500 participants from over 80 countries in an online initiative designed to foster the capacity of independent media and civil society to protect the information ecosystem and combat disinformation. ​I took part in trainings on social media analysis, advanced OSINT techniques, deepfakes detection, data visualization, and open-source tools, as well as discussions on topics such as online extremism, digital regulation, State-sponsored information operations, and more facilitated by DFRLab experts.

Professionally represented the IPA in the UNESCO world book capital (WBC) Jury and generated WBC nomination criteria for members that wanted to make a contribution to fulfil the overall objectives of the association. Represented IPA with governments, IOs, the EU (as an expert), NGOs, and the press. Competently performed 20 fact-finding missions in Armenia, Belarus, Iran, Myanmar, Tunisia, Turkey, and Vietnam, along with checking censorship trials. Led effective international freedom of expression events regarding fundraising.• Created an international coalition defending the freedom of expression with the UN Human Rights Council (UPR Working Group). • Skilfully prepared the annual IPA-PwC global survey on VAT rates on books and e-books. • Co-ordinated the biannual IPA Congress in Seoul (2008), Abu Dhabi (2010), Cape Town (2012), and Bangkok (2014). • Directed a number of successful liberation campaigns (of publishers).• Headed and oversaw all activities of Tunisia Monitoring Group, which consist of more than 20 freedom of expression groups monitoring freedom of expression in Tunisia. • Formulated and edited the IPA’s Freedom to publish blog, newsletters, and press releases, in addition to having developed the new versions of the IPA website in 2007 and 2012 - 2013.• Created and administered the IPA freedom to publish prize (prize money of 10000 Sfr.) that promoted and defended the freedom to publish.

Actively supervised a ten-member rights holder coalition in the World Summit on the information society preparatory process, from 2003 to 2005.• Tactfully negotiated IPA’s membership of the international freedom of expression network (IFEX). • Co-ordinated the biannual IPA Congress in Berlin (2004) and Montreal (2006). Founded the IPA Freedom to Publish Prize (2005).
