Authenticity - Equity - ServiceI am a proud Indigenous, Latina, first-generation graduate from the University of Michigan, having obtained my degree in psychology with a minor in community action and social change. I am currently working toward increasing access to mental health and social services, while also encouraging strengths-based and risk-mitigating strategies within populations that self-report alcohol and cannabis use. My passions include community-based research, community and social psychology, and making meaningful connections with people of all backgrounds. I intend to dedicate my career to investing resources into the youth and young adults of Michigan and across the country. More specifically, I am interested in supporting young people through the implementation and continued evaluation of integrated student support systems in secondary and post-secondary education institutions.
