• Deliver Motivational Interviewing (MI) consistent interventions via social media platforms (e.g. Snapchat, Facebook) to young adults (aged 18-25) in order to encourage protective behaviors and reduce risk-taking behaviors as they relate to substance use (e.g. cannabis, high intensity drinking, opioids, etc.) while maintaining confidentiality standards when handling participant data• Developed and delivered an 8-week MI-based pilot social media intervention encouraging physical activity and reducing risk-taking behaviors relating to cannabis use• Transcribe and code intervention conversations using tailored coding systems based on Motivational Interviewing Treatment Integrity (MITI) and Motivational Interviewing Skill Code (MISC) instruments• Collaborate with intervention team and MI expert during weekly supervision meetings to improve MI techniques and maintain fidelity • Coordinate mailing a study information packet, local resource guide, appointment card, pill disposal bag, and small gifts to participants • Create complex Qualtrics surveys for participant screening, baseline, and follow-ups, and managed changes and edits within Qualtrics and study codebooks• Recruit, screen, collect informed consent, and obtain baseline data from participants, monitoring for survey completeness, accuracy, and ensuring deidentification and confidentiality

• Managed a dataset containing approximately 2,000 pages of text and images into NVivo software from books written for adolescent girls going through pubertal growth • Coded for themes for content analysis project led by a Ph.D. candidate focusing on parent-daughter relationships in books written for adolescent girls going through pubertal growth• Established a foundational dataset of academic article summaries exploring the pre- and post-pubertal experiences of Asian American adolescent girls for use in future literature reviews• Provided primary assistance to Ph.D. candidate with a dissertation examining Black African-immigrant origin (AIO) college student experiences of community mental health, including cleaning 13 three-hour-long interview transcripts, building and refining a qualitative coding system complete with themes, subthemes, definitions and examples, training undergraduate RAs to code, and providing feedback for the candidate on their interviewing style• Co-authored a manuscript exploring experiences of identity and well-being in Black AIO youth using the data previously mentioned

• Implemented a 13-week virtual summer employment and professional development program for Washtenaw County youth, aged 16-24• Transformed in-person professional development curriculum into an inclusive virtual one, in collaboration with community partners Michigan Works! • Evaluated the efficacy of the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation (RWJF) Health Policy Scholars (HPRS) Program using mixed-methods surveys and interviews as part of a 3-Year RWJF Diversity in Health Policy Research Grant• Proofed, examined, and analyzed RWJF HPRS mixed-methods survey data using IBM SPSS software• Transcribed, thematically coded, and summarized 16 hour-long semi-structured interviews of Ph.D. students in the RWJF HPRS program to create a coding schema tool assessing the efficacy of the program from the student perspective• Supervised raw statistical and qualitative RWJF HPRS data analysis completed by a team of five undergraduate peers• Compiled, summarized, and organized study data on experiences of nontraditional students attending 4-year colleges and universities in the U.S. for use in a focused literature review prepared to fulfill the Grant to Support Research & Scholarship for Change funded by the National Center for Institutional Diversity (NCID)
