Hello! My name is Alexis. I’m here to serve and build. Currently, I work as a statewide organizer for energy equity and environmental justice. This has afforded me opportunities to intimately connect with communities and it’s stakeholders as well as brilliant minds nationwide around energy equity. I’ve been able to professionally develop in administrative skills as well as political and social arenas. Along the way, we’ve gained some wins as demanded for the community such as better communications from utilities companies and more money allotted to a refined and more inclusive weatherization program. Some of my work includes building campaigns around more inclusive and equitable conditions for residents in Georgia. My team and I make it our mission to address environmental injustices statewide based on voiced community concerns and the need for change. I am responsible for building community, leading strategy, and execution of communal visions into fruition. And for a cherry on top, we do all of this in addition to voter mobilization around these issues.
