Positive Emotion & Anxiety Research LabOur lab specializes in discovering evidence-based solutions to reduce symptoms of anxiety and depression and increase life satisfaction and well-being. Our mission extends beyond the alleviation of distress and negative emotions - but also endeavors to boost positive emotions, social relationship functioning, life satisfaction, and well-being.

This research aims to explore factors shared among survivors of suicide loss that experience growth after trauma, with hopes that findings will inform the improvement of suicide bereavement treatment. [ In collaboration with Dr. Blaire Ehret and Survivors of Suicide Loss San Diego (SOSLSD) ]

Cognitive Dynamics LabThe lab's ongoing studies involve Mild Cognitive Impairment and Schizophrenia populations. Our research aims to explore how GPS mobility data can serve as a digital biomarker for symptoms and cognition in serious mental illness. Future implications include the identification of changes in behavior , self evaluation, etc that are present prior to onset of suicidal ideation.

Independently choreographed routines and taught various styles of dance to several teams with a range of skill level. Other responsibilities include weekly emails, meeting competition deadlines, settling disputes among the team, and interacting with parents.
