During my days at the 'stop' as we like to call it, I do just about anything the boss man and lady tell me to. This can range from making coffee and helping customers to sweeping the floors and fixing computers. When I can sneak off, I like to manage the store's facebook, website, and mailing list. Being a hostess at Kyoto Japanese Restaurant was one of the best jobs I've ever had in my short little life. As a hostess, you're pretty much handed a phone and told not to let people wait too long at the door, then set loose into the sushi jungle. I folded many napkins, but also did double duty waiting tables occasionally and created the employee handbook. Mostly, I gained a lot of experience and made many great friends.
