As the Senate Majority Caucus Deputy Communications Director, I support a 15-member caucus. The communication needs are diverse and involve media relations, writing, photography, event coordination, and social media management.

I served as both a Legislative Assistant to Senator Sturgeon and the Communications Coordinators to the Senate Majority Caucus. In that role, I helped serve the diverse communications needs of caucus with 15 members.

I served as legislative assistant to Senator Sarah McBride, the Chair of the Senate Health and Social Services Committee until October 2022. I continuously served Senator Laura Sturgeon, the Chair of the Senate Education Committee until January 2023. My responsibilities were vast and included: constituent relations, policy research, stakeholder coordination, and administrative duties.

I was assigned to the Senate Majority Caucus Policy team. During my time I handled administrative duties, complex policy research, and actively participated in crafting legislation. About the Legislative Fellows Program: Begun as a partnership between the University of Delaware and the Delaware General Assembly in 1982, the Legislative Fellows Program is now sponsored in cooperation with Delaware State University.For the students, who are selected through a competitive application process, the experience offers a valuable opportunity to observe and contribute to the political decision-making process. For the General Assembly, the program provides the research skills of the Fellows as well as a link to University resources. Through their nonpartisan, in-depth research, Fellows assist legislators in addressing critical issues facing the state

Biden School Of Public Policy And Adminstration

As a fellow at the Institute of Public Administration, I am conducting education policy research for the state of Delaware. My research is and fellowship is associated with the Redding Consortium which has been mandated to generate a redistricting plan as well as propose policy options improving the quality of education for the students of Wilmington, De and Northern New Castle County. My research is dedicated to school climate and disparities.

I am continuing education policy research with the University of Delaware's Institute of Public Administration. This research team is supporting the Redding Consortium who have been mandated by Delaware's Congress to provide recommendations to have more equitable schools in Delaware. I analyze data, create memos, attend meetings, and support the research team in anyway I can.

As a policy intern I worked under the TAPES (Tourism, Arts, Parks, Entertainment, and Sports) Committee. I was responsible for writing a resolution and researching the fiscal and social benefits for businesses in cities that prioritize DEI. I also wrote a resolution for USCM to show their support for the CROWN Act. Lastly, I was able to develop communication strategies to encourage business to display symbols to show members of the public they are an inclusive space.

As a customer service representative at Horizon Services I speak to an average of 40-100 customers daily. I schedule appointments, answer questions about customer's account, handle dissatisfied customers. I receive calls from Horizon customers as well as the customers of all Horizon affiliates. I also train new employees, demonstrating customer service skills and teaching how to use the data entry program. This position highlights my ability to communicate, lead, work with a team, and learn quickly.
