Completed an undergraduate Honors thesis on the speech deficits and their relationship to story gist in patients with stroke-related aphasia while working in the Language and Neuroimaging Research Laboratory. Assisted in cognitive batteries, transcribed and coded over 40 recorded narratives, and collected and analyzed the data from these tasks to draw conclusions and further research into the way language breaks down and its neural correlates.
