Alexis Campbell is a media entrepreneur and journalism student at New York University, passionate about defending and promoting press freedom. He has 11 years of experience as a communicator, reporter and news director in various media outlets in Panama, his country of origin.In 2022 they founded TELEC3 S,A., a community media outlet that provides information and programming to the population of Colón, Panama Canal Zone, facing obstacles and repression from the dominant public power. Due to threats and attacks against their freedom and security, they had to go into exile in December 2023, and continue their operations from abroad. He was public relations director for a Christian community, where he was in charge of marketing and production. They are multi-skilled in writing, research and broadcasting, and strive to create a voice for people who do not have access to traditional media.
