Collaborated with student designers to hold a Costume Exhibit based around Dante's Inferno. In addition, the exhibition will include art of diverse media to showcase original pieces made by up-and-coming talent.

Appointed by the Executive Board of this Student-Run Organization, I hold the responsibility of running weekly workshops meant to improve the design/sewing techniques of student designers. Furthermore, I assist them in creating looks for the yearly Spring Fashion Show and other events related to the Industry. This position has provided the opportunity for me to collaborate with Models, Photographers, Stylists, and other peers within the fashion industry.

As part of the Inaugural Cohort of the REACH Program, I conducted research under the guidance of Dr. Ratnakar Singh and Dr. Michael J. Spinella. The title of the project was: “Correlation between cisplatin acquired resistance (CAR) and the ATP-binding cassette (ABC) transporter genes of testicular germ cell tumors (TGCTs)”. In addition, I had the opportunity to present this project in Poster and Oral form at the Illinois Summer Research Symposium, held in Champaign, IL.

I enrolled in the Undergraduate Research in Chemistry course to evaluate the toxicity of different cadmium sources in aquatic models, all in the laboratory of Dr. Sonia Bailón.

Worked with Dr. Miguel H. Del Pozo, Dr. Marisel Sepúlveda, & Dr. Sara Camerón in assistance in data entry through SPSS; continuous research through a judicial database; and collaboration in the organization, synthesis, and codification of federal cases for analysis.
