I have been a web designer and developer at Raney's INC for 11 years. I started with this company as an entry-level graphic designer, with some tricks up her sleeve. My history with designing personal blogs and a slew of personal online projects propelled me into this marketing unicorn role for a while. They were a start-up trying to keep their momentum from ebay sales going, and I was a waitress at outback that wanted a chance to do behind the scenes marketing stuff and web design. It was a perfect fit. For years I did a little bit of everything. Graphic design, web design, web development, troubleshooting problems, editing product videos, coding email blasts, and even some memes for social media. Then eventually I would settle into my role as web designer and developer. Fast forward to 11 years later, and there is a whole marketing team. My favorite things to do, career-wise, would be web design tasks, video editing, and brainstorming. I love giving someone an idea. It's like delivering a nice treat. It's also really satisfying to solve a technical problem.
