At Allison+Partners, Alexis was responsible for research, internal comms, media strategy, media lists and pitch development to help various teams in consumer, real estate and education successfully secure coverage. As well as conduct industry monitoring to flag any trends, issues and media coverage for clients. She is also in constant contact with media, securing coverage opportunities. She spearheaded organizing various team with necessary monthly and weekly reports, daily agendas, action items and keeping teams on deadline. Her specialties included project management, building media strategy plans and trusted relationships with media and client base.

At Nuffer, Smith, Tucker Public Relations Alexis created and revised media lists in order to pitch media that reach target audiences. She also analyzed and monitored media coverage to accurately measure audience engagement. She got experience drafting press releases, social media content and pitches to relay client messaging.

In 2020 the Glen M. Broom Center for Professional Development in Public Relations introduced the Broom Student Fellows. This program invests in young professionals that work hard and push the status quo in the profession. Alexis has learned the backend of what it takes to be a multimedia journalist with The Daily Aztec. Starting from no background, Alexis learned to use Adobe Premiere Pro. One of her multimedia projects published in February 2019 to the official Daily Aztec website.

Alexis' time being a Lionsgate ambassador has taught her the professional skills it takes to plan and execute various events for target audiences. When given a specific Lionsgate film title she goes straight to work reaching out to local influencers, locations, brands and companies in order to connect and throw an event true to the film.

Alexis' time being a college ambassador for SONY pictures has taught her many professional communication skills. Alexis started being an ambassador in her sophomore year of college. Her first title film was "Only the Brave" (2017) drama. She was nationally recognized as the first place winner for the best campaign by SONY executive Eric Kent. She was also nationally recognized as the second-place winner for her campaign with "Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle" (2017) comedy.
