Assisted with the development and delivery of each monthly/quarterly publication for the magazine. Participated in all stages of the publication process, from content creation and editing to producing editorial and advertorial content. Responsible for coding new and reactivation applications for prospective undergraduate students. This includes determining academic classifications and residency for tuition purposes, corresponding with applicants regarding missing information, building and updating student files, requesting and reviewing transcripts, posting admissions decisions and authorizing and releasing Undergraduate Admissions holds.

My responsibility was to provide mentorship and dedicated outreach support to students taking SLS 1501 and provide them with connections to academic and high-impact opportunities. I was also in charge of lead weekly discussions around student success topics and campus transition. In addition, I met weekly with students one-on-one to discuss progress and adjustment to the university.

Created an online magazine with the mission to share the untold stories of Black men, a narrative of The Soul Within. The Soul Within will share stories about Black men with the goal of changing the narrative through real, positive, honest, and uplifting stories. The stories will seek to encourage open discussion about a variety of topics within the Black male community.
