As a Field Trainer, I was responsible for facilitating a 3 day course to further Store Manager training on understanding company objectives, optimizing processes, managing employees, and developing leadership skills in a way that different types of learners could grasp and find engaging. Prior to class, I would contact the Store Managers to collect information on training journey and give information on class requirements. Outside the classroom, I would collaborate with regional partners to develop workshops based on training gaps and best practices.

Through my time at the TSBDC as the HR Intern, I have had the chance to create an employee engagement survey to measure the happiness of all the interns in the organization, send out timecards as records of payroll each month, and administer a personality test (Wired that Way) to all employees and analyze the results to help form better work teams, and work closely with the director to complete all necessary business activities.

The majority of my job consists of answering phones, filing, assisting students and counselors, and tutoring in Microeconomics, Macroeconomics, College Algebra, and Accounting 1. I am also solely in charge of updating the files for students who change their from majors either to or from Basic Business.

I worked closely with five other RAs to provide educational, social, and passive programs to 300+ residents. I was also available to answer questions and be a resource, so residents can have the best college experience possible.
