I am currently a recent graduate from Loyola University New Orleans in the College of Business where I majored in Management with an emphasis in Marketing and a minor in Forensic Science. I graduated from my class with academic honors as Cum Laude. Formerly, I worked as a student worker at my university at the College of Business. At the CoB I would carry out and assign tasks to fellow colleagues, arrange student records and insure proper delivery of documents. My work experience has allowed me to properly communicate and work with others, balance tasks and stay organized with a keen attention to detail.Also, during summer and winter breaks I would work a seasonal part-time Licensed Sales Producer with Allstate Insurance Company and as a cashier at Dollar Tree in Texas. Allstate has allowed me to bind and write policies, educate customers on Allstate resources as well as follow up with customers and give them proper feedback. At Allstate I would answer the phone and take detailed messages, generate quotes for prospect customers and file and sort customer policy documents. At Dollar Tree I would sort through inventory, assist in aiding staff and familiarize customers with products. During my time at Loyola I have been involved in various leadership organizations on campus. This past year I became a member of Delta Sigma Pi, where I’ve conducted a professional event for my pledge class, participated in fundraising events to raise money for the Fraternity, and attend weekly meetings and community service opportunities. I’m also a member of Sigma Alpha Pi, National Society of Leadership and Success, in which I have viewed speaker broadcasts pertaining to leadership, goal identifying and personal growth. I’ve also participated in networking team meetings to help set goals and overcome obstacles and I’ve attended professional events for career development. Furthermore, Delta Sig and NSLS has allowed me to clearly define my goals and take the proper steps to obtain them in the professional world. Overall, my educational background, leadership roles in student organizations, and retail experience have provided me with the communication and organizational skills to succeed in a fast-paced work environment.
