I joined Robert Walters Japan in April 2006 as a founding member of the Contract Division. Our mandate was to establish the first contracting division within the Japan office.My initial role was to develop new clients, source candidates, manage the recruitment process and maintain contractors post placement, generating consitent monthly revenue for the firm.Upon promotion to Manager, I was responsible for hiring/training/management of new consultants, target/goal setting, staff appraisals, client/contractor/internal issue resolution and corporate strategy planning/execution in addition to normal recruitment activities.Achievements:Established IT Contract as the most profitable team in the firm in 2009.Qualified for the 2008 Global Incentive Trip for the firm's highest billers.

My responsibilities were to work on site at Japanese Junior High Schools as an Assistant Language teacher, creating lesson plans, teaching students and participating in extra curricular activities within the schools.
