As the Executive Director of the Indiana Black Legislative Caucus, I am dedicated to enhancing the economic, educational, and social conditions of minority communities across Indiana. My role involves fostering collective action among legislators and their staff to align with our strategic priorities, ensuring impactful outcomes for our constituents.With over a decade of combined experience in public service, education, and healthcare, I excel in communication, relationship building, and problem-solving. My current pursuit of a Master of Public Affairs equips me with the skills to drive effective public policy and innovative solutions for the communities I serve.Previously, I have contributed as a Legislative Assistant, Nonprofit Consultant, and Coordinator within various health and education sectors, where I honed my abilities in data management and process improvement.I am passionate about education equity, housing, and mental health, and I actively engage in community service initiatives.
