I am the Chief Operating Officer of BecomingX, a learning and development company that aims to create a world where everyone can realise their potential, no matter what their starting point in life. Co-founded by Bear Grylls, BecomingX was set up as a means to demystify what it really takes to succeed and to help people build confidence and skills. Our work ranges from creating and delivering bespoke leadership programmes and personal development training for corporates through to digital learning platforms for schools. With the BecomingX Foundation, we also serve disadvantaged communities including global refugees.I am also an ICF ACC credentialed transformational and corporate coach, with a small number of private clients (alexisrosecoaching.com)I'm deeply passionate about inclusive culture and leadership, equality, learning and personal development. A natural communicator, I love to use storytelling to inspire others. I have deep operational expertise and a strategic mindset, and work best when collaborating with business leaders to achieve their goals.Prior to BecomingX, I spent almost twenty years at Accenture. Having started out as a graduate client-facing in the UK Strategy practice, I went on to develop my career in business operations, and most recently spent six years as the Director of Business Operations for Accenture Strategy Europe prior to a short stint focused on Global Inclusion & Diversity. I was proud to be the Executive Sponsor of the Accent on Gender employee network within Accenture's UK practice, working towards their goal to achieve 50/50 gender parity by 2025. I spent three years transforming the network from a female oriented group to a powerful gender based network emphasising the importance of male allyship, alongside themes such as intersectionality, women's health and masculinity. I was a regular teacher on Accenture's global female development programs. I have also guest lectured at Cambridge University's Judge Business School.I have enjoyed speaking externally at recruitment events, conferences and on webinars, being an Ambassador for everywoman, and an Alumni of Management Today's 35 Women Under 35. I was a member of the Business In the Community Gender Leadership Team for two years. I'm currently the President of the Board of Trustees for Centre Stage London, a theatre charity with over 50 years of history based in central London, and have volunteered with them since 2011. I have also volunteered as a Board member for The Griffin Schools Trust.
