Although not entirely related to my marketing-focused education or work experience, I've picked up valuable and transferrable skills from my time as a model.Through working with local and international brands like Fenty Beauty, Sephora, Versace, Zalora and Love, Bonito, publications like Vogue Singapore, and fashion events like The Front Row and Singapore Design Week, I've learned effective time management, client relationship management, active listening, and team collaboration. More importantly, I understand the value of giving and receiving constructive feedback and have developed an ability to understand campaign goals and adapt current approaches to best meet these goals.

During my 10-week internship, I had the opportunity to support various B2B marketing projects with the target audience being SMEs, companies and larger international corporations. My responsibilities ranged from supporting the production and marketing of a client testimonial video series; amplifying corporate wins on internal and external channels; assisting with strategic corporate communications tasks; coordinating various project briefs with agencies; and deploying advertising and branding campaigns in bank branches and on digital channels. I also had the opportunity to complete a group project alongside fellow interns across the Bank to analyse a digital banking app and present ideas and recommendations that could enhance the user's experience with the app.

As a Peer Advising Leader, it was my responsibility to ensure incoming exchange students from NUS' university partners were properly welcomed to Singapore and NUS, and were given the tools to make the most of their semester abroad. I also leveraged my personal experience as an exchange student to share valuable insights with fellow NUS students who were preparing to embark on their own semester abroad programmes.I supported in overseeing and supporting the planning and execution of orientation, social, and cultural events. These events focused on giving incoming exchange students an opportunity to meet fellow exchange students from all over the world as well as local Singaporean students who might be able to support them adapt to life in Singapore. I also helped to facilitate communications between university staff and resources and exchange students on digital channels and manned the Global Lounge reception office to attend to any immediate student queries.

As part-time marketing and operations manager, my role had two main responsibilities. Firstly, I was responsible for inventory management as well as overseeing the team's production of ice cream stock and the fulfilment of walk-in and online orders. Secondly, I was responsible for the business' marketing efforts. For this, I helped to manage the business' social media and website presence, and revamped the direct email channels to increase the business' client base and drive sales revenue. I had the responsibility to create the marketing copies and the visual content for each of these channels.

During my three-month internship, I was primarily working on supporting the development of new legal software products and services in collaboration with the firm's director and colleagues, and external stakeholders in the legal industry. I helped to lead the research on compliance and KYC obligations within the legal industry and mapped the customer journey in carrying out these checks. This information was then relied on during the development process.
