Hello!I am a senior graphic communications student at Clemson University. I will be graduating in May of 2023. I am currently a student worker for Clemson University Parking and Transportation Services as a marketing and communications intern. I have been with the department for five semesters and have been a part of amazing experiences related to the university. As a long-term intern at the department, I now aid in the supervision of two new marketing interns. I head over the intern operations and ensure brand guideline compliance and event success.I have been involved with graphic communications since high school where I completed the graphic communications program at my high school's trade school (Swofford Career Center). Throughout my time at Clemson, I have explored many different areas of the printing industry. Whether it be spending my time in marketing and branding or managing a job through a workflow. I have previous experience in project management from my time at More Vang. Within project management, I worked with the wide format department to manage jobs through to delivery. I would also design wide format jobs when art was not provided. Within the Parking and Transportation department, I gained knowledge of marketing and branding through our "student-led" campaigns. I was a part of the logo creation and introduction of our Choose Transit campaign. This campaign became a huge success with students riding public transportation more often. With business-level experience, the Erwin Center for Brand Communications has also provided me with the framework I need to work in teams focusing on branding, marketing, and storytelling.I enjoy the business and technical side of the printing industry. Speaking to clients, ensuring client approval after prepress, and sending the project through production to delivery piqued my interest. Although I did enjoy project management, I feel open to other opportunities in business operations.
