This role was a short-term contract administrative position, which involved use of the ContrOCC and Liberi systems. My daily tasks included processing invoices and answering complex telephone and email queries from providers, in compliance with GDPR. I was also responsible for setting up new providers to allow costs to be loaded for invoicing, and setting up portal access for named users from each provider.As part of this role, I also had to keep records of all communications with providers, in terms of payment queries (such as additional cost requests) and changes/ending of a placement. Any changes that were made to placements were recorded in the relevant child's placement folder, by saving the emails and also writing in the running record. I was leading on Expert Assessment and Ready Homes provisions, in terms of the set up and loading of costs and the processes involved for them. This also involved formatting and maintaining spreadsheets of data in which the costs were loaded from. These provisions were being introduced when I started this role, so I was responsible for writing the processes for transfers within these provisions, along with Supported Lodgings and Semi-independent provisions.

Main duties included reshelving books and also a frontline representative of Medway Council, working directly with the public. This meant dealing with enquiries about a range of council services (for example; bus pass applications). Also answering the phone to colleagues in other branches and answering enquiries about stock. Before Twydall library became a community hub, my role also included use of the till, taking payments for book fines, printing/photocopying, etc.The Twydall Library team were nominated for the Medway Council Customer Service of the Year Award 2016 for the outstanding level of customer service provided throughout the process of refurbishing the building. We were able to offer a full service whilst transferring stock between buildings.
