All Together Growing (ATG) was an initiative promoted by a multidisciplinary team of students to participate with UMA for first time in iGEM, the world's largest synthetic biology competition. At the same time we carry out talks in schools, workshop and other activities, creating a social media community.

The goal was to develop a bioremediation project based on the synthesis of carotenes by the yeast Yarrowia lipolytica with waste cooking oil as culture medium. We raised more than $17,000 and won a silver medal in iGEM competition 2021 during the Jamboree held at UNIZAR.
