Providing technical direction for the future of the company.Specific projects included:- A Node and Express REST API using the Sequelize ORM and Auth0 permissions-based security. Standardized API endpoints are automatically generated based on simple model configuration files and models’ relationships to one another.- Fast multi-entity search in Postgres using an automatically updated materialized view and trigram indexing.- AngularJS application for managing clients, partner restaurants, and orders.- Re-platform of our AngularJS/REST API app to React/GraphQL built on a custom React Material UI kit and Hasura. The UI Kit has a heavy emphasis on simplifying form management, utilizing the Formik library. The client has fine-grained permissions-based rendering of UI elements and pages and the GraphQL server with Hasura uses role-based permissions.- Sporkbytes.com built with Gatsby and incorporating data from our REST API and Storyblok CMS. It includes a multi-step order form built with Formik that submits order requests to HubSpot.- React analytics dashboard with interactive charts and widgets for viewing key business metrics. State managed with MobX State Tree and UI built with Material UI.- React deliveries app that enables delivery drivers to view their day’s deliveries and important metadata and actions in a timeline view that guides them through the process. State managed with MobX State Tree and UI built with Material UI.- Multiple public and private npm packages encapsulating shared back end and front end code.- Spearheading adoption of tools like Slack, Asana, and Zendesk across the company’s teams and workflows.- DevOps for all of the above projects.
