In February 2024 I led a management buyout of GFC (a business I founded in 2009) and established Turnmill Ltd, a platform backed by Horizon Capital Ltd, to invest into market leading financial services events and information services businesses. I founded GFC during the height of the financial crisis having noticed a significant trend: corporate borrowers were transitioning their financing from loans to bonds, prompting closer collaboration between banks' loans and bonds teams. We launched an event call "Bonds & Loans" in Dubai and over the course of 15 years took the event to 5 financial centres establishing a market-leading position supporting deal progression within Debt Finance.
