Community managers and staff were thankful for reducing data entry and having one source of truth.• Training environment created with generic data to protect staff privacy – this avoided careworkers having only paper walkthroughs for the phone app. Errors were dramatically reduced and the trainers were very appreciative.• Supervisory Visit Report – very positive feedback from teamleaders and all the service planners. Mandatory client visits would now not get missed, were timely and it saved hours of manual checks as no report existed previously. Recognition: The Community Services project’s success recognised by management with a certificate and gift card.

This included the APLNG group and Conventional Gas groups in NZ and Australia.• Asset Maintenance– Viziya: these users in Queensland and Victoria maintained the assets in Oracle ERP.• Externally hosted energy trading – Nemsight: again based in Queensland across 2 separate business groups.• Energy Trading - Energy Components (known as GMAR within Origin): provided change management execution.Key Achievements:• Taking responsibility for providing better support for Primavera Contracts after a period of discontent between IT and the business. This included gathering requirements and creating reports delivered through windows task scheduler jobs to meet deadlines. Redesigned processes and introduced templates to eliminate informal processes which had led to delays and conflict. Created process for creating training environments eliminating it being a lengthy after-hours job. These changes were appreciated by the Business manager as it reset the situation.• Regular delays by APLNG P6 users in executing their month end reporting (P6) were impractical for the DBAs to plan their work. I mapped out the processes and negotiated with the DBAs to arrive at a solution the DBAs, IT and the business were happy with. My good history helped with the DBAs accepting me completing the DB work. • Created Support capability in IT and established business networks to support asset maintenance system (Viziya). This was essential as there was a need to upgrade the software but there had been no handover to me to help me do this.

I started at Origin supporting Purchasing and progressed to other modules and then Oracle non eBusiness systems. • Purchasing – supported requisition & purchase order activities which were used widely by thousands of staff.• General Ledger (GL) – supported accountants and managers in capital and regional locations during month end and year end. Also worked with other users and colleagues as GL was the end point for transactions within eBusiness.• Manufacturing – on the project for shop floor and discrete manufacturing as well as other components at the Regency Park Solar Pilot factory. Following this I was on support till I was moved onto the Invoice Scanning project.• Invoice Scanning – on the project with Accounts Payable for Invoice Scanning with Readsoft and Consit software integrating to eBusiness. This touched as many users as Purchasing as receipting and invoicing were linked. • Credit Card – Support activity was high as it was used widely for low value purchases and impacted by staff turnover. It was a critical support area because of the need to account for FBT and capital purchase transactions.• Hyperion Financial Management – was the final corporate reporting system. It translated currencies, consolidated business groups results and reported on actual, budgets and forecasts to the stock exchange and board as well as to management on a monthly basis. The support for this moved with me when I transferred between teams.Key Achievement:• Upgrading from Oracle eBusiness 11 to 12. I was a member of the programming team working with consultants upgrading reports and interfaces. My knowledge of these elements and the business use helped in these efforts.
