Identify, assess, develop and select suppliers for designated all commodities. And focus on the interconnection commodity, Such as raw cable, Cable assembly, Connector, Electronics components, metal, PCBA and so on. Validate and manage supplier requests for quote and quotations, lead the team to maintain current price data, including trends and forecasts for all commodities. Play a key role in work with suppliers and customer RD to coordinate technical/engineering issue, Develop sources of supply to service manufacturing, assuring that products and services are delivered with quality, cost and delivery performance as required. Perform cost analysis, Negotiate agreements, terms, conditions, logistics and pricing with suppliers as required. Insure prompt placement of assigned purchase orders, as required, in accordance with established company purchase policy. Manage the BOM from cost and supply chain perspective, including Cost BOM ownership and communication Maintain supplier cost, delivery and quality performance in accordance with department objectives and corporate objectives. Monitor and update the status of promised supplier activities on a routine basis to ensure compliance to requirements. Supplier management and continuous improvement of supplier performance, lead the team to localize components and work with engineering design team to complete the material cost down.
