I appear regularly on CNBC's slate of television programming to discuss the tech giants and my reporting as an exclusive contributor to the network. I've made more than 100 appearances on the network to date.

At BuzzFeed, I covered how Facebook, Google, Twitter, and Snapchat shape the way we share information and interact. I published in-depth stories on Facebook's artificial intelligence research division, Twitter's business struggles and comeback, Tinder's date-matching algorithm, and the spread of fake news. My work was cited by publications ranging from The New York Times to Sports Illustrated. I made multiple appearances on CNBC, CNN, and BBC Radio, and moderated panels at SXSW and Web Summit. In 2019, I won a Mirror Award as part of a BuzzFeed team recognized for reporting on "Social Media in the Crosshairs."

At Ad Age, I reported on advertising and marketing technology. In a little under two years, I wrote three cover stories and was named finalist for a Society of American Business Editors and Writers' Best In Business award. I spoke at over a dozen industry conferences, appeared on NPR's All Things Considered and conducted Oracle founder Larry Ellison's last interview as CEO. Freelancer from August - December 2013. As a freelance tech contributor at Forbes, I covered the digital marketing side of the 2012 election, the Vatican's social media strategy, the shutdown of Google Reader, and many other marketing-related stories. My reporting was highlighted by Harvard's Nieman Journalism Lab, JimRomenesko.com, Poynter, MediaGazer and Pew's Project for Excellence in Journalism.

At Operative, I generated over 1 million dollars in closed revenue by nurturing and transitioning sales-ready opportunities for Operative's ad technology (Operative.One) and managed services. My work helped bring in the following new logos: Universal McCann, Daily Motion, Schibsted Media Group, Backstage Magazine.SintecMedia acquired Operative for approximately $200 million in November 2016.

At NYCEDC, I managed all company media buying. I placed over $225,000 in ads across 42 publications in 19 months, mostly online.I also studied search engine marketing (SEM) and set up Google Ad Words campaigns to promote business opportunities with New York City.

Just out of college, I successfully managed New York State Assemblyman Mike Miller's first campaign. The job involved building a campaign operation from scratch: Recruiting volunteers, networking with community organizations, coordinating press exposure and renting and managing a campaign office. I started fellowship program that brought two college graduates on as full-time volunteers, one of whom became Assemblyman Miller's chief of staff. Miller trounced his opponent, winning by over 30 percentage points.

I organized a two month effort to put Council Member Elizabeth Crowley back on the ballot for re-election. Crowley qualified and then beat her opponent by 20 percentage points.
