    Alex is a calm and considered Director, who makes mouth-watering films in a modern, rhythmic way, with a keen eye for aesthetic detail. I spent the early part of my career working in advertising agencies, developing content ideas for brands like McDonald’s, Mercedes-Benz and Co-op. As much as I enjoyed concepting, I wanted to be deeply involved in the production. As in-house production units started to develop in advertising, I jumped at the opportunity to work on projects as a self-shooting Director/Editor - producing work for brands including Co-op, McDonald’s and most notably, Lurpak.In the two years working as a Director/Editor on the Lurpak account I shot, directed and edited multiple content campaigns, mastering technique and style in macro that would prove invaluable for breaking out on my own.As an independent director, I’ve grasped the opportunities to direct TVCs in the food category across Europe, being repped by production companies in France, Germany & Italy. I now have important working relationships with a wide variety of specialists in the macro field - pushing each new project to be more creatively ambitious than the last.Whilst working with food is my main passion, I do enjoy breaking out of the macro perspective into sports, and have directed and edited projects for the likes of Nike, adidas, Mizuno, Manchester City and Copa90.
