For over 6 years I've been learning and improving photo + video content, while also growing my network of connections. After a few successful years assisting with media on local tours, I've since worked on media teams for multiple music festivals and directly with a number of touring artists on their stops in the midwest. The decision to take the leap into running my own media business was difficult, but has been rewarding. I have experience in lowlight/concert settings, as well as portraits (press shots, maternity, engagement, weddings, etc.). There I majored in Marketing with a Certificate in Sales earned from the UNL College of Business' Center for Sales Excellence (CSE). In the fall of 2015 I was honored to be selected as a member of the CSE's inaugural class, which provided hands-on sales experience throughout the Lincoln/Omaha business communities. This helped me transition into the professional world with a much better understanding of how to best satisfy customers' needs. From there I joined Sandhills Global as a Sales Representative focused on assisting business in General Aviation with both online and print marketing in addition to designing and launching websites. I traveled monthly to Georgia, Alabama, and Florida to service existing accounts and prospect/land new business. After learning a lot about the business world and myself in those few years, I decided to move to Omaha where I currently live with my (now) wife Mia and our two cats. This brought along a career change where I found Spreetail, an ecommerce business. I started as a Vendor Manager and after a year, transferred to a newer department to help grow and develop the team there. I spent 2 full years on the Market Research team and ended my time with the company as a Senior Market Research Specialist.
