Whether applying theology or data analysis to address our community’s challenges, I am passionate about building relationships and driving real change. I started my career in operations and strategy where I helped a national industrial supplies distributor find creative solutions to tough problems—from moving material across warehouses to motivating underperforming teams. Seeking to expand my quantitative skills, I spent my evenings studying data structures and the algorithms that make sense of them. While finding this work intellectually engaging, I grew increasingly frustrated with the disconnect between my work and my faith's calling to justice. I left the corporate world to spend three years studying theology and grappling with how to put my faith into practice. While at seminary, I spent my summers working as a hospital chaplain and a product manager for a tech start-up. At the Community Purchasing Alliance Co-op, I combine my commitment to doing justice with my professional experience to help strengthen our core community institutions. I hold a master’s from Yale (Divinity), a master’s from UC Berkeley (Data Science), and a bachelor's from Princeton (Near Eastern Studies).
