I was a part of the platform services team at HireVue. We maintained the code base, handled updates to the various languages, frameworks etc, cleaned-up code, and wrote the tools that the other teams used. Afterward I was on the EUC team which was where we created new experimental features that didn't fit into the core product. It was later transitioned to primarily being the team that worked on HireVue's scheduling code.

Design and implement products according to the specs negotiated by my employer. I mainly worked in JavaScript and ArcGIS during my first year, but moved to CakePHP, HTML, CSS, SQL architecture, and jQuery.

Redesign the website for DSUSA. I was also tasked with building systems to make the site manageable by my successors who may not be programmers.

Enforced the DSUSA Constitution and Bylaws to prevent wasteful spending of student fees.Represented students on multiple committees including the Policy Exceptions Committee and Academic Integrity Committee.

My job was simple, make sure that the students in my department had funding to attend activities that benefited themselves and the school. My side-jobs also included the general promotion of academic well-being and to help relieve student stress; this was usually done through activities that helped students with day-to-day tasks eg. free breakfast. I also volunteered a lot of time to helping Student Life (the activity division of DSUSA*,) and the DSUSA Public Relations. I averaged about eight hours a week during my first semester. *DSUSA stands for Dixie State University Student Association, aka, Student Government.
