Prioritising, planning and leading improvement projects for the Standards Team. Managing the construction training standards development programme. Applying expertise to projects & team improvement:• Facilitating working groups & improvement sessions for standards development, improving templates & documents.• Providing guidance and influencing national industry groups.• Managing development & maintenance of Training Standards product.• Providing extensive customer support.• Supporting colleagues in development work, providing support, working collaboratively and navigating challenges.Project Manager for the review of CITB’s 150 Plant Training Standards supporting 42,000 plant operators across the UK. Leading two colleagues along with industry experts. Reporting to the project board and managing the quality of output, time, risks & opportunities, communications, and overall delivery of the project.

Short term contract - main project was senior leadership team recruitment and selection process. Responsibilities included the design and co-ordination of process and handover to recruitment specialists. This involved working closely alongside Partner company recruitment teams, keeping both projects to time and making efficiencies where possible, utilising organisation and stakeholder management skills.

While working in the Organisational Development team I had the freedom to adapt my role, taking on projects best suited to my skills, as a result I have led, developed and delivered a number of exciting projects and initiatives. I enjoy variety and my projects have reflected this covering a number of different areas from strategic planning to system & process implementation.

While working in the Organisational Development Team in Anglian Water's @one Alliance I took a short term secondment as the Organisational Development Manager, leading a team of 6. Taking on responsibility for the team’s workload and development while continuing to work on my existing projects. I also had the opportunity to work as part of the Alliance Management Team, and continued to collaborate with stakeholders from across Anglian Water and the Partner Companies to ensure best practice and knowledge share.

Working in the @one Alliance at Anglian Water I define and implement people management processes that ensure individuals are well managed within the Alliance and have the appropriate level of interaction and integration with their partner organisations. Developing & managing people databases, systems and processes for recruitment, inductions and the development of Alliance staff I provide data and reports to the business. I also maintain job description and the organisational structure within the Alliance. I recently developed a new system & process for the Alliance Development Review and collate data from this to plan internal people moves and identify skill gaps.I work with the other People Development Advisors to provide regular updates, in a consistent format, on staff supply/demand figures and projected requirements. I work closely with my colleagues to continually review and improve our systems and processes, ensuring clear communication and training sessions are provided as required.

My work in project delivery led to me working closely with the Continuous Improvement (CI) team, assisting in the development and implementation of a new collaborative planning process. I also facilitated the collaborative meetings which soon became my most frequent, and most enjoyed, task.

My first role within the @one Alliance consisted of working with the project delivery teams across Water Recycling Non-Infrastructure. I completed general admin tasks including reporting, minute taking and meeting bookings. This position gave me a good insight to the workings of the @one Alliance and grounding to build my career.
