Led selection and integration of cluster networking, container runtime, storage, monitoring, alarming, logging, tracing, and service mesh capabilities. Identified and helped fix issues with upstream components. Developed Kubernetes deployment and lifecycle automation tooling, including end-to-end CI/CD pipelines, support for multiple deployment environments, including AWS and on-prem air-gaped. Contributed to hardening of Kubernetes clusters and underlying infrastructure; security policy development, enforcement, conformance validation, and audit. At the platform services and consumers level, identified and evangelized best practices and tooling for configuration management, image builds, resiliency and health checks; deployment automation and monitoring. Contributed to design, development, testing, deployment and monitoring of foundational platform services. Designed and developed domain specific custom resources and Kubernetes controllers/operators. Facilitated portability across Kubernetes environments, including support for deployment into environments provided by customers.
