Project Team LeadSibers (Former Key-Soft Ltd Mar 2006 - Jul 2011Lead responsible for the following projects:Pharmaceutical trial management system. (C#, ASP.Net, AJAX, .Net 2.0, .Net 3.5, MS-SQL 2005, Linq)This project was inherited from another company where it had been in development for 3 years (C#, ASP.Net 1.1, MS SQL 2000). I was able to quickly come up to speed on all details of the project even though I had only one week of transition time. I have been leading a team of 4 developers assigned to this project. With my supervision and direct contribution the team in 9 months was able to migrate the project to use ASP.Net 2.0 + AJAX and MS SQL 2005. Started using MSVS for DBpro for DB changes monitoring and patch creating. System is already in use with seven new pharmaceutical trials started. My role is ~30% development, ~20% team leading (task assigning and monitoring), ~20% code & SQL review and code & SQL optimization, ~20% architecture and task estimation, ~10% communication with employer. As a result this project has become one of the most profitable ones in our company.TPTGolf - Golf training application. (Managed C++,C#)I have been leading a team of 2 developers: one for business logic and interface (Managed C++) and me for video capture module (C#, DirectShowNet). My responsibility is to develop video module for two synchronous high-performance FireWire video cameras for preview and saving of captured video to AVI files. -
Senior Software Development EngineerSibers Jul 2004 - Mar 2006responsible for the following projectsLaunchIt! - Golf Launch Monitor. (C++, MFC, GDI+)This is a desktop application for golf swings monitoring and angle calculation. I was responsible for the entire development: architecture, business logic(C++), GUI, serialization(MFC), video capture module (DirectShow), motion detection (GDI+) and swing angle calculation algorithms. Weather forecast tools for Fox Weather . (C++, STL, MFC)(Continued working with the same customer as in previous company)Developed several desktop tools for weather forecasting using C++ (MFC, STL).One of the major tools was MtnRTMapper - GUI application for precipitation level calculation and visualization. The tool generated a map with elevation topology and precipitation level by gathering data from multiple forecast stations. Technologies used: C++, MFCGasWizard - Gas well monitoring Client-Server tool. The tool used Client-Server architecture: server received information via COM-port from special well gas monitoring hardware device, analyzed and sent data via TCP port to client application. Client application displayed received information in tabular and graphical format. Client application also had interfaces for configuration of hardware device: configuration commands were sent via TCP port to server and server resent them to hardware device. Technologies used: C# WinForms, .Net framework 2.0Video mixing utility.(C++, COM, C#, WinForms)This is a desktop application for mixing different size and format video files into one AVI file.I was responsible for entire development. During design phase I found that all necessary video processing functionality was available in DirectShow Editing Services. For GUI module I used WinForms. For video processing module I crated C++ COM module which used DirectShow Editing Services functionality. -
