Welcome! I am an experienced consultant passionate about the Cybersecurity industry and all things technology. I recently finished my Masters degree in Cyber Defense from DSU, a NSA approved university and one of the most prestigious cybersecurity schools in the nation that offers hands-on experience in Incident Response tabletop exercises, SOC/SIEM, Intrusion Detection, Risk Management, Penetration Testing, Cryptography, and Digital Forensics. Currently, I have been exploring the impact of data breaches on individuals from the lens of data privacy laws, human rights frameworks, and the potential implications for human harm. Home Lab Cybersecurity Project - Ethical Hacking | CybersecurityAlex'S Home Lab Jan 2021 - May 2021✦ Created a home lab in my basement to practice Active Directory attacks such as LLMNR poisoning, SMB relay, and man-in-the-middle attacks. ✦ Home lab consisted of one domain controller, one attack machine, and two client user machines.✦ Generated malware with LuckyStrike. Also configured a reverse shell via Metasploitable to gain root access on a client victim machine.✦ Utlized SQL Injection and XSS skills on OWASP BWA.✦ Cracked the password of my Metasploitable2 VM by using Hydra and then telnetting into it.✦ Performed a Buffer Overflow Attack via debugger tools and generated the Shellcode via msfvenom.✦ Captured Hashes and passwords on my Windows 10 client via Responder and John. I then exploited those credentials with PSExec to gain a Meterpreter Shell and CrackMapExec to gain escalated priveleges on the Domain Controller to exploit other systems on the same subnet.✦ Experience in scripting languages including Python, and security toolkits such as Kali Linux.✦ Familiar with Passive Discovery tools like OSINT.
