Working on the Bank of America Consumer team I have crafted single page informational sites as well as multi-page program sites (Bank at Work). I’ve updated websites that are dinosaurs by most standards. I’ve also added additional functionality to banking applications like the Cash and Travel Calculator and the Preferred Rewards Calculator. Beyond that, I’ve contributed to our core analytics code by adding WebTrends to our list beside DART and CoreMetrics. I am also well-versed in ADA web requirements.

I cut my teeth in the industry working for a mostly-WordPress Boston-based agency building sites for clients ranging from Northeastern University to a Toronto-based transportation organization. Beyond the standard WP tools we made heavy use of Advance Custom Fields, WooCommerce and Gravity Forms. Due to the boutique nature of Zocalo I was able to wear many hats. Writing code, talking to clients, reviewing and commenting on designs and drafting proposals all in a day were not outside the norm.

Posted public notices, tracked legislation, and maintained committee records and websites for public access. Managed high volumes of confidential gubernatorial appointee files. Assisted in the planning session for the 2011 Legislative Assembly. Trained incoming Washington State Legislative Committee Assistants.
